Fine Art Photographer Marcia Treiger
"When all is real, and nothing is for certain..."

Fine art photography is inherently an unreal perception of time and space. Once an image is "captured", we have to ask ourselves which is more real, the photograph, or the actual memory of the moment in time. To create something that never existed before is a uniquely intimate and personal experience. For some, photography may be about making sense of the world.
For me, creating images is the way I connect with a higher power, the invisible force that connects to everything, and the pure spirit of life.
In support of its Radiant Realities exhibit, the Kimmel Center will have a reception for Marcia Trieger on March 6, 2006 from 4:30 - 6:30, with a gallery talk by the artist.
The exhibition runs from January 2006 to May 2006.
